Kano language, origin and dialects spoken over the world.

Origin and History

Kano, also known as Kano City, is the capital of Kano state in northern Nigeria, located on the Jakara River. Kano, a Gaya tribe blacksmith who came to Dalla Hill in the area in search of iron, is said to have founded it. The discovery of stone tools suggests prehistoric settlement of the site, which was chosen as the capital of the Hausa state of Kano during King Gajemasu's reign (1095–1134). (Gijimasu).

Kano state, located in northern Nigeria, is primarily populated by Hausa and Fulani ethnic groups. The state's most widely spoken language is Hausa. It can be extremely difficult to live in the state without knowing at least a few Hausa life-saving words and phrases. Kano is the Hausa language's birthplace; everything about the language is established here. This is where the Hausa film industry (Kannywood), print literature, books, and music all begin.

There are, however, vibrant communities of all ethnicities in Nigeria and some neighbouring countries who speak a variety of languages. There are also Lebanese, Syrians, Indians, and Chinese in the state capital.

Dialects

Kano State has four official languages, the first of which is Hausa. The major languages are Fulfulde and Hausa, with Duwai and Kaduna as minorities. Kastina state residents primarily speak Fulfulde and Hausa.

Countries spoken

The Hausa spoken in Kano, the largest city in the Hausa-speaking area, and the surrounding regions is known as "Standard "Hausa. This Hausa dialect is used in nearly all printed materials in Hausa, including Nigerian Hausa newspapers. It is also the most common variety of Hausa heard on Nigerian radio and television.
