Origin and History
Ganda or Luganda is a Bantu language spoken in the African Great Lakes. It is one of the main languages in Uganda, spoken predominantly by more than eight million Ugandans and others in central Uganda, including Uganda's capital Kampala. Typologically, it is a heavily agglutinating, tonal language with subject-verb-object, word order and nominative-accusative morphosyntactic alignment.
